We will also be visiting the area around the ghetto during this tour, and we will be talking about the Synagogues that existed and are still in the quarter, along with the Jewish museum, (which will be visited the following morning) after a full understanding of the history of this first Ghetto. We will make a stop on this tour at some stage, as appropriate so we can see how the Venetians spend their evenings, in one of the street bars next to the markets that predominate this area with a glass of local wine accompanied with delicious snacks of bruchetta and cicchettis. Many local guides now offer tourists Jewish foodie tours in the evening in this area frequenting markets and several bars, so we will attempt to experience the ambiance during an afternoon stop from the tour at a typical such bar.
