Fly out Friday 23rd June 2017 on RyanAir Stanstead Flight No FR2432 to Krakow 9.25 lands at 12.50 and returns on Monday 26th June from Krakow at 21.50 pm Flight No 2437 landing at Stanstead at 23.25 all flights have to be booked by yourselves on www.ryanair.com [as of 8/3/2017 £142 return] ASAP and confirm to Marcel once you have booked your flight so hotel reservation can be made in your name.

Friday 23rd June 2017 – Land at 12.50 met by transport to our Hotels - 14.30 from Hotel Miodysytnia hotel Ul Wawrzynca 6 - When our group has a 2.5 hour guided walking tour of the Jewish quarter Kazimierz including Szeroka Square - visiting museums, 7 shuls and cemeteries. The tour incorporates the newly rebuilt Kupa, Remuh, Temple and Isaac High Popper & Temple Synagouges and is entitled in the footsteps of the Balaban which will show you HOW JEWS LIVED in Krakow for over 700 years and why it was called the Galician Jerusalem We also visit the Nowy Place the old Jewish market square and Jewish Cultural Centre Krakow that Prince Charles was responsible in creating. At 7.00pm candle lighting at our hotel or at the Eden Hotel where the chazons and choir stay
7.30 Mincha & Kabalat Shabbat followed by Shabbat diner with choir and cantors at the Eden Hotel
Shabbos 24th June 9.00am Shabbos at the Temple Shule with famous Chazonim yet to be announced which shul with choir followed by 12.30pm Shabbat meal at the Eden Hotel thereafter casual guided afternoon walk 2.30pm to see the beauty and splendour of the medieval main town Square via Wawel Castle overlooking the Wisla river.
Mincha at the Isaac shule followed by seudar shlishit at the Eden Hotel before Maariv followed by Melava Malka at the Temple Shule till late. Late night Klezmer Jam sessions at Alchemia bar in Nowy Place until 4.00am in old Jewish Market Square near hotel
Sunday 25th June - 10.00am Meet at Eden Hotel Ul Ciemna where we go on a guided walk across bridge and over Wisla river to wartime ghetto in Podgorze visiting the contemporary Galicia Museum TRACES OF JEWISH MEMORY then the heroes square Chemist under eagle museum and Shindlers factory museum [voted when it was completed museum of the year 2011] – Late vegetarian lunch at Mlynek Restaurant on Place Wolnica near hotels booked for 3.00pm as the need to start queuing for evening concert by 6.30pm to get a good seat with uninterrupted views
7pm Main Chazonim Concert 3 Chazons and a choir Chazonim in previous years have included Ben Zion-Miller [comes every year] Alberto Mizrachi Chaim Adler Yaakov Lemmer & Yaakov Starck with choir tickets approx. £50 included in package price
Monday 26th June 11.30am Check out hotel with luggage on the Coach [we will pick up at Galaxy Hotel 5 minutes later] as we leave for Auschwitz-Birkenau which arrives approx 1.00pm and will spend approximately 4.5 hours there with guide. We will conclude with Minchah & Kinnah for the victims of the Shoah and a memorial prayer for the Martyrs concluded by shofar blowing at the end of the railway track in Birkenau where the crematoriums were. We spend approx. 2.5 hours in Auschwitz then take our minibus to Birkenau where we spend an additional 2 hours visiting watchtower, Sauna and barracks in this vast complex which had contained 379 barracks. Following Auschwitz-Birkenau we will visit new museum and Holocaust Centre in the nearby town of Oswiecim [see their interesting website http://ajcf.pl/en/ with reconstructed Synagogue and relaxing in their conference room where we will watch a holocaust related film and discussion. Time to walk round town to grab a Pizza or other snack before we head straight for airport at 19.00 only 50 minutes away to catch the 21.50 flight home.
